MSc International Logistics and Crisis Management

     Learning Objectives

In a competitive environment where the organizational dimensions of logistics become strategic, this MSc aims to train logistics experts to cope in crisis situations. The movement of goods, people and information require these new skills notably in the context of the growing impact of climatic and natural insecurity. Organizing, structuring and optimizing logistical operations now require integrating the changing priorities related to good governance and sustainable development. This program fosters the ambition of providing leading edge expertise in all the functions and processes related to international logistics management. Once completed successfully, the students of the MSc International Logistics and Crisis Management will have all the tools and methods to actively participate in dynamic and sustainable decision-making sectors such as third-party logistics providers, humanitarian organizations or any businesses striving for superior environmental and social performance.

     Who should apply ?

  • Bachelor’s degree / French Licence or equivalent.
  • HND or equivalent two-year degree plus at least 5 years relevant experience.
    Students with non-relevant qualifications may be asked to complete a short portfolio prior to commencing the course.
  • A TOEIC score of 790 or equivalent TOEFL/IELTS score is required.
  • The selection of students is made after a thorough analysis of all applications.

     Teaching format

  • About 430 hours of face-to-face courses with experienced professionals / professors
  • Entirely taught in English
  • Internship of minimum 5 months
  • Professional thesis
  • Practical case studies (5 weeks) and one assignment

Courses are divided into 5 modules:

  • International Transportation (maritime, river, air and road)
  • Global Logistics (Sustainable development and logistics, From Logistics to Value Chain, flow management, etc.)
  • International Trade (customs procedures, international trade)
  • The context of International Crisis (Geopolitics of armed conflicts and natural disasters, Humanitarian and disaster response law, Intercultural communication, Sanitary Aspects)
  • Logistics and Crisis Management (Risk and Crisis Management, Human Resources Management, Humanitarian and disaster relief logistics, Funding international operations).

     Opportunities

Students can claim for positions in industrial companies, logistics service providers as well as in humanitarian organizations in the following sectors:

  • International manufacturing / distribution,
  • Wholesale distributors Medical manufacturers / wholesalers,
  • Logistics service providers,
  • Non-Governmental / Humanitarian Organizations,
  • Carriers and ports,
  • Government / Military.

After a period of integration, the graduates will be able to target a variety of career opportunities such as:

  • Physical and informational flow manager,
  • Sourcing and procurement manager,
  • Sales (Internal / External) manager,
  • Operations manager,
  • International / domestic Logistics manager,
  • Warehouse manager,
  • Transportation manager,

  • Humanitarian Logistics Project manager,

     Tuition

  • Application processing fee: € 100
  • Total Programme:
    • €7,700 for EU citizens
    • €9,900 for non EU citizens and professionals
  • Alumni association fee : 300 €

     Admission procedure

  • Application form with supporting documents.
  • English language certification required for non-native speakers : IELTS 6 TOEFL CBT 230 or IBT 88, or TOEIC 790.
