EM Normandie has been granted a 3-year EQUIS Accreditation. The School has thus achieved a Triple Accreditation status at international level, after having obtained the EPAS Label for its Grande Ecole Programme (Initial Ed) in 2011 (renewed for another 5 years in 2014), and a full AACSB International Accreditation, also in 2014, for 5 years.
By gaining this badge of excellence, the EM Normandie has now joined the select club of 165 universities and management schools accredited by EQUIS in the world.
This is a tribute to its academic model and the intensive quality approach it has engaged in over the last years. The strong relevance to its territory, the quality of its links with the corporate world, the internationalisation of its programmes, its innovative pedagogy as witnessed by the LaSmartEcole® project, the development of its Executive Education programmes, together with the effectiveness of its alumni network, are among the strong points emphasized by the auditors in their Peer Review Report.
"After gaining EPAS and AACSB, aiming for EQUIS was a critical move to increase both the reputation and profile of EM Normandie and its programmes. This is a prestigious label that bears witness of the quality of the School itself and the relevance of its strategy. The School will thus benefit from a great competitive advantage in France and abroad enabling it to forge ahead and serve its students and its professional and institutional partners even more effectively. EQUIS will also help in recruiting high potential international lecturers and developing new partnership agreements with similarly accredited institutions. At the end of the day, such an accreditation enhances the degrees we award and is bound to contribute to an even better professional insertion of our graduates", stated Jean-Guy Bernard, the Director General of EM Normandie.
