Determination, passion, persuasion skills, and an innovative spirit, such are the personality traits of the 49 students who have made it to the Apollo and Atlantis Support Schemes run by the Institut de l'Innovation et du Développement de l'Entrepreneuriat (InsIDE) at EM Normandie. Whether still in infancy for some projects, or already well advanced for others, all students will benefit from this free and customised scheme over the next 10 months, which can be extended up to 6 months after they graduate. ‘InsIDE, means above all the strength of a dedicated team and a network; a true springboard for InsIDE members who are fortunate to be guided throughout the lengthy Entrepreneurship process, from finalising the project to starting the business, through building a business model, giving shape to a prototype of the offer, and validating the prospective market, or seeking partners and funding,' states InsIDE Director Christophe Yver
As evidenced by the fact they all benefit from individual and collective coaching given at InsIDE, by experts in the field, and by legal, accounting, and insurance specialists, thanks to the partnerships with Fidal, AMCE Normandie, MMA VD Associés, Green Research, or COHIN Environnement.
InsIDErs have access to thematic workshops (Fundraising, Growthhacking, Growth Strategy, Prototyping, etc.), and attend events to foster exchange of good practices and experience sharing (Startup Weekends, Conferences, Live Interviews with entrepreneurs, After Work Sessions, etc.).
To help them in their search for funding, the School is a partner of the crowdfunding KissKissBankBank platform, as well as the Normandie Business Angels, a regional investors club. € 2,717,000 have thus been raised over the last 3 years!
Hosting solutions are offered as well: privatised or shared desks on EM Normandie campuses or in co-working facilities, such as Le Container in Le Havre or the Koloc' in Caen, which were inaugurated last October jointly with Normandie Incubation and Pépite Vallée de Seine.
‘I wish you to be slightly mad, very humble and tremendously confident in yourselves and your partners!', as Etienne Beaugrand, the Sponsor for this new Cohort, told them on the occasion of the Inaugural Evening Event on 23 November. And he should know what an Entrepreneurial venture can mean: after graduating from the EM Normandie Grande Ecole Programme, he founded PayGreen, an on-line eco-responsible payment solution that is experiencing considerable growth. Let's wish these new recruits the very same success Etienne met!
